Desire is at the heart of creating our reality
For many of us, stating what we want is difficult. We may freeze up and draw a blank or state a vague image of our desire. It could be because we have never felt it is safe to express our desires or don’t trust that we can have it, or deserve it.
Being crystal clear about how we will feel once we get what we want, is how we bring our desire into the 3D reality. Knowing what we want is not enough though. We have to also explore the unconscious resistances or obstacles in the way to set the process in motion. Once we can move away from unconscious resistance and take actionable steps, success is more likely.
Portals to Desire
For some, seeing others have something we want is a portal to desire. For others, knowing what we don’t want is a portal to desire. It doesn’t matter how it happens, we must ask ourselves again and again, what do you want? And then… we listen for the answers, without judgment and without needing to know how it will take shape.
If we really want to get what it is we say we want, we have to become intimate with the part of ourselves that is resistance to the desire. What? That seems counter-productive, doesn’t it?
Astonishingly, the truth is, that 90% of our life exists because of our unconscious mind- the auto-pilot. Our patterns, beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors that have become second nature is what cause the results we experience in our lives.
And if you desire a new car, job, house, life, feeling, partner, or health, wanting is not enough. You must become intimately connected with the parts of you that do not want your stated desires.
For example, say you say you want power at work. You want to experience having a title, a bigger salary, prestige, and respect. But deep down, a part of you fears that level of responsibility. Or a part of you fears conflict with co-workers, or a part of you believes that CEOs are abusive and uncaring. Do you see the contradiction?
Making the unconscious conscious
You will need to gain clarity about what is lurking in the subconscious. With love, you can accept this aspect of yourself. Treating all parts of ourselves with dignity, as if they deserve respect is an important step in the process. Once accepted you can find out what the purpose is for the existence of this part of you and what it needs, and thank it. Once you accept it you can create a new relationship with your unconscious shadow, unleashing energy that you can now use to move toward the desire.
If you have ever wondered why you are not making progress toward your desires, goals, and dreams, consider asking- what part of me doesn’t want this? From there you can clear the way and take inspired action toward getting what you want.
